AFC Oakley Under 13’s partner with Children’s charity called Opendoor
AFC Oakley Under 13’s have this year partnered with a local Children’s charity called Opendoor. Part of this partnership involves a reverse sponsorship whereby Opendoor have their logo on our Away team kit and we donate much needed funds to help them operate.
Opendoor are a Bedford based charity focusing on Children’s Mental health. As we have all seen and no doubt experienced, during the past 2 years, mental health and particularly that of young people, has been affected by the challenges we have all faced. Opendoor are working hard to support those in need.
As part of our fund raising Bal Mahey (U 13’s Marlins Coach and AFC Oakley Club representative) is going to be doing a Parachute jump. May 8th is the big day and we would love your support. There is a just giving page, https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/baljinder-mahey-skydive?utm_term=j25rdJ7P5
Any donation given will be split between the U13’s age group and Opendoor. We have guaranteed Opendoor a minimum donation of £500 for this season.
